Delta Groove and Eclecto Groove CEO Randy Chortkoff is very pleased to announce the addition of music and entertainment industry veteran Robert Fitzpatrick to his team as Acting President of the new Eclecto Groove label. Fitzpatrick will oversee the day-to-day operations of Eclecto Groove effective immediately.
Fitzpatrick has been well-known and highly respected within the music industry since the 1960s, when he was The Beatles' attorney. He also represented such high-profile artists as The Rolling Stones, The Who, and singer Peggy Lee. Fitzpatrick later joined with entertainment mogul Robert Stigwood to form the management firm Stigwood Fitzpatrick, Inc., and managed such groups as Cream and The Bee Gees. Fitzpatrick also managed Arthur Lee & Love, Taj Mahal, actor Don Johnson and many others.
Fitzpatrick's wide-ranging experience in the entertainment field also includes acting, from early off-Broadway stage work through film appearances with stars such as James Stewart, Tony Curtis and Debbie Reynolds. He has also produced for the stage and television, and worked on the soundtracks for films such as "Pulp Fiction," "Remember The Titans," and "The 51st State."
"We're very, very excited to have Robert on board," said Randy Chortkoff. "His depth of experience in so many facets of the entertainment business is a perfect fit for Eclecto Groove, and the entire Delta Groove Productions family. We're working on some great new things, and Robert is the man to help us achieve them."
Robert Fitzpatrick was born in San Antonio, Texas, and brought up in New Jersey. He ran away from home and went to New York at the age of 15 where he began his career as an actor. He put himself through Princeton University and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, eventually serving as a Captain in Vietnam. After his discharge, Fitzpatrick was accepted into UCLA Law School, where he earned a LLB and a JD degree, and launched his career as an Entertainment Attorney and manager. Prior to joining Eclecto Groove, Fitzpatrick was President and CEO of Vista Ave Entertainment Group, a multi faceted film and music company, RFO Entertainment, a management and production company, and The Robert Fitzpatrick Organization.
