We can't say enough about this disc. Candye's vocal command is as good as it gets, and it seems that she always offers up the best musicians to present her material. Laura Chavez provides quite a bit of magic on this disc, and combined with Candye's vocals and the great selection of tunes, it's a testament to the health of the Blues when done right. The fact that Candye has recovered from a bout with cancer is another testament. One that reminds us that life is precious and every moment should be celebrated - and that's what this disc is - a celebration of the human spirit. A celebration of a Superhero. Welcome back, Candye!
