The ninth studio release from Candye Kane. Despite the fact that she has made numerous appearances on many well-known television shows (Maury Povich, CNN Showbiz Today, MTV News, and many more), at least at this point in time Kane remains mainly an underground phenomenon. And that seems curious to us because...her image and sound seem to have so much mass appeal (?!).

On Superhero Candye gives her fans what they have come to expect. Upbeat blues-influenced pop tunes that allow her to show off her vocal strengths. What has always impressed us about this woman...and what still impresses us the most...is how much presence she has. Instead of being a lightweight carbon copycat, Kane is the real thing. She's sassy and real...and she's got a real meaty voice that really works magic.
