Blues singer Candye Kane's set to release her new album, Sister Vagabond, on August 16 on Delta Groove Records..

Produced by Kane and her guitarist Laura Chavez, Sister Vagabond is the eleventh set to appear in her catalog, the followup to her acclaimed 2010 collection, Superhero, which was nominated for a number of awards in blues circles.
Kane's lived a life of great stories, growing up in what she called a "dysfunctional blue collar family" before diving into a music career in her teens. A mother of two who's rubbed shoulders with everyone from Dave Alvin to the Circle Jerks, Kane's also a cancer survivor and favorite performer of dignataries the world over.
