The Insomniacs seemed to come out of nowhere to conquer the Portland Oregon music scene in 2007. Their first record, recorded in the bass player’s living room, was snatched up by Delta Groove Music. It earned them a number five slot in the national blues charts and a nomination for the 2008 Blues Music Awards Best New Artist. 

The Insomniacs’ music, played on vintage instruments, harkens back to the stripped down jumping blues of the fifties. Their new CD is called At Least I'm Not With You.
