Here comes one of the bands bluesy Portland area, Oregon with more swing of which I have heard in recent months. The Insomniacs we present their latest work, latest, hottest, a work that is not wasted and to be savored again and again without rest.

Since we made ??the album Left Coast Blues, the group has traveled thousands of miles acting throughout the whole country in clubs, cafes, bars and festivals, and was also nominated for awards in 2007 and 2008.

The Insomniacs continue its process of going up points and evolving, thanks to the innate talent displayed by the group members. Vyasa Dodson guitar and vocals, Alex Shakery piano and Hammond B-3, Dean Mueller on bass and Dave Mellan on drums form a quartet enviable and irresistible.

For this new work have had the invaluable assistance of the harp Al Blake and Mitch Kashmar , Joel Paterson to 'pedal steel' and Jeff Turmes on tenor and baritone. The result is thirteen great songs, all of them excellent, which make them one of the best bands 'west coast' blues of the moment and will certainly have much to say in the future.
