Blues Man: Born in St. Louis, Mo., blues man John Long absorbed the sounds of Jimmy Reed, Muddy Waters and Lightin’ Hopkins as a kid in the 50’s. It had a big effect and for decades, he’s been honing his craft and voice. With his recently issued debut album, “Lost and Found,” Long re-creates the pre-war country blues sound in a fine set of originals.
