Here
is a real acoustic find for you: John Long and
his new CD “Lost & Found.”
Fingerstyle
blues, slide, harmonica, oh yeah this guy can
play. Muddy Waters said “John Long is
the best country blues artist playing today.”
That was 20 years ago! John is still playing
and he is liquid prell. I mean fluid and looking
good when he’s done.
John
just makes everything sound easy. He just plays
and sings and it’s great. I sure wish
I could play like this and if you are an acoustic
bluesman and have the desire to hear a young
‘old guy,’ then this is it.
John
is having fun and playing from the heart. I
love it. 12 cuts on this CD. I like them all.
