It's been nearly six years since blues guitarist Kirk Fletcher released his critically-acclaimed sophomore album Shades of Blue in 2004. When the call came, Fletcher rode the rails with legendary blues harpist Charlie Musselwhite, and later he took up with Kim Wilson and the Fabulous Thunderbirds for a couple of tours and an album. Now that he's gotten back around to pursuing his solo career, My Turn should prove that Fletcher's fretwork is just as sharp as ever as he stretches the boundaries of blues, rock, and soul.
