The Scene Shows to Catch

The "Legendary" part may be a bit premature, but the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Revue isn't lacking for talent, from Chicago bluesman Ronnie Baker Brooks and former J. Geils Band harpist Magic Dick to such regional talent as roots pianist-saxophonist Deanna Bogart and the Tommy Castro Band. At the State Theater (703-237-0300) as well as Tuesday at the Rams Head On Stage in Annapolis (410-268-4545). . . . It's Capitol Hillbillies night at the Red and the Black as three bands who live on the hill -- the Dustbowlers, Bourbon Dynasty and Buck Forty Nine-- gather for some serious non-politicking (202-399-3201).
