West Coast blues is a genre not easy to duplicate. West
Coast Blues It is like Chianti wine, you call any name
but only tuscan hills can justify the name. West coast
Blues goes exactly like this: you can play all over
the world and you ‘re welcome! But only local
can do the dirty job. The Mannish boys are the real
thing: Kid Ramos, former James Harman, Fabolous Thunderbirds,
Wchandy nominèe, Ricahrd Innes from the legendary
Hollywood Fats Band backed up by Big Names as Finis
Tasby, one of the last great soul and rhythm & blues
singer in the finest Texas tradition, Tom Leavey, former
bass player with Big Mama Thorton, Joe Turner, Billy
Boy Arnold, Otis Rush, Frank Goldwasser, axe guitar
player aka Paris Slim well known by fans of Jimmy Dawkins,
Homesick James and Lowell Fulson. With such a stellar
line up you can do no wrong and there it goes: an album
full of vitality which explain why the blues is live
and well and it is fighting with us against the bad
mouthed detractors. Kudus to each musician involved
who played his heart out and to Randy Chortkoff of Delta
Groove Productions, brave enough to trust the real thing.
