MITCH
KASHMAR "NICKELS & DIMES"
Source: The Courier

Writer: Jim Clark |
Kashmar
sings the blues, yet optimistic about future.
I like most blues, but I guess, if pressed, I would
concur that I like those smoldering electric blues the
best. Now I have a new source of the brand of music,
Mitch Kashmar. He’s in the vein of Tommy Castro
of Walter Trout and the Free Radicals, with a lot more
emphasis on harp. He can blow a harmonica like nobody’s
business.
Blues artist John Hammond agrees, “Unbelievable.
A great singer, and up there with the best harp players
I’ve ever hear. I’m knocked Out.”
They say Mitch is best live, dresses like a “pimp”
and puts our a constant stream of energy, where the
audience gets as worked up as he does.
His latest CD, Nickels & Dimes, is an instant blues
classic filled with cool riffs like “Dirty Deal,”
“Just Show It To Me,” “Whiskey Drinkin’
Woman,” and “Runnin’ Off At the Mouth.”
If you like low-down funky blues that makes you want
to “slap your mama” – look no further.
Mitch Kashmar is the key. |
