MITCH
KASHMAR "WAKE UP & WORRY"

Album
sleeve liberally adomed with three damned fine
ladies in various stages of undress, surrounding
a rather bemused looking Mitch! Second album from
Mitch who is a harmonica player par excellence,
and a pretty damned good singer too! Playing fiery
harp covering all sorts of styles, some jazzy
stuff, some boogie and some great Blues, this
is another terrific records. Mitch tips his hat
to Little Walter by covering “Dead Presidents”
and “Up The Line,”: both in fine tribute.
Again it is hard to tell which of the tracks are
originals because they all sound so damned authentic,
and the fell for the music is plain to hear. Bonus
too is that the backing band are all tip flight
musicians giving out their all to add to the overall
effect, making this a really top class offering.
The musicians sound as through they are having
a ball and on track seven, they definitely are!
The three finely undressed young ladies contribute
appropriate sounds of enthusiasm, all adding tot
he party feel. If this is typical of Mitch’s
work, what the hell has he go to worry about?
