Phantom Blues Band, Footprints (Delta Groove).  Full-tilt sixties style hard R&B, with beautifully arranged horns and a kicker of a rhythm section.  The opener, Look at Granny Run (1) sounds like it jumped off one of the 45s I keep from that era. (It could be an ode to Viagra, except it was first recorded by Howard Tate in 1966.) Fried Chicken (5) sticks out for its greasy funk. A Very Blue Daty (10) has a very different feel, of cool popular jazz, with loverly horns including a standout trumpet solo.
