ANA
POPOVIC

Speaking about excitement it is impossible not to mention Ana Popovic. I’ve been watching her grow from the very first CD she has released with her band Hush, through excellent albums by German Ruff, to this current release. I am so pleased that my fellow European was discovered by such an important label like Delta Groove. She is the total package: plays smoking, yet imaginative guitar; is an expressive live performer; plus has the ability of writing deep and memorable songs. I was reading her statement in CD’s booklet and I totally agree with her comment about how hard it is to be raised in third-world environment. About doctors becoming cleaning ladies in hotels. Many people in our part of Europe can relate to what she says and I thing this is the reason my listeners like her so much. “Still Making History” may be her breakthrough release, a beautiful one!

Hey you guys, I wanna tell ya, it's months later, and I am still transfixed and overwhelmed by Ana's fantastic album. This is by far the best album of the year. Whenever I listen to this album, I am transported to a 'whole nutha level.' I am under Ana's spell---if this were a record I'd have worn it out by now.
Norman Davis
Wow...just incredible.

Still Making History is one of those records that goes deeper than the music. With fiery vocal confidence, white hot guitar work, and genre-bending songcraft, Ana Popovic displays not only her undeniable talent, but her lifelong commitment to her art. And that’s what you hear in each compelling song – commitment, passion and her unshakable belief that with music there is opportunity, freedom and hope.
