Rod and the band continue to do what he does best... play the blues... His playing is reminicent of his time with George "Harmonica" Smith and he shows his twists and turns of the blues in magnificent quality on "Westcoaster".. as well as great songs that include ... "Hate to see you go", "Get Wise", and more... the band shows there funky side on MFBQ and Rod has the band JUmpin on Snap Crackle Hop.. and it all ends with the great haunting harmonica sound in his version of Sad Hours.. I believe that this is the best Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers record to date.
