The CD’s name tells it all. What a “Thrillville” Having seen Rod’s group on the Blues Cruise and at the Tampa Bay Blues Fest. I was worried that like a lot of groups there would be a let down on this CD. I really listened with this thought in mind only to be surprised on how wrong I was for pre-judging this latest CD. Despite numerous personnel changes over the years, Rod and his keyboard pounding blonde bombshell wife, Honey, remain the core. Rod and Honey co-wrote “Get Wise,” Honey Bee,” “It Can’t Be True” and “Stranded”; all of which allows them both to remind

us how great they are as musicians. If you like your blues with a mix of swing and do not like to sit still when listening to music, I suggest buying this latest CD from Rod and his able-bodied band.
