Mike Zito! The name should include all the followers of the blues as quickly in their list.

This album struck here as a one-ton asteroid out of nowhere and leaves with every new player feeding traces of Hörfreude. Jetzt hat er auch die richtigen Leute um sich und acht seiner selbst geschriebenen Songs haben den Weg auf seine aktuelle Platte gemacht.

"Pearl River" hat so manches für die physische und psychische Ertüchtigung auf Lager, denn man kann seine Muskulatur im Ganzen durch Tanzen in Schwung halten.

Der Mann ist ein super Gitarrist, der auch durch einen gepflegten Bottleneckeinsatz glänzen kann. Zito feuert rockigen Blues ab, der einen Berg geradlinig bezwingt und kann direkt danach einen hinreißenden Slowsong servieren.
The man is a great guitarist who can shine through a well-kept Bottleneckeinsatz. Zito fires rocking blues of a mountain and can jump straight defeats after serving a gorgeous Slowsong.
Schon nach dem ersten Durchgang fand meine Begeisterung kaum Grenzen und genau solche Leute wünscht man sich auch auf Bühnen in unseren Breitengraden.

Eine Enttäuschung hat "Pearl River" leider zu bieten: Man möchte nach 55 Minuten einfach mehr, mehr, mehr...
